Jacqueline Boutros

Jacqueline Boutros is a Toronto-based criminal defence lawyer with a strong foundation in advocacy, legal writing, and constitutional law. She has defended clients in a wide range of criminal matters — including drug trafficking, firearms offences, sexual and domestic assault, fraud, and impaired driving — often leveraging sophisticated Charter of Rights arguments to secure successful outcomes.

She holds an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Eastern Washington University, a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, and a BA in Criminology & Political Science from the University of Toronto.

Outside of her legal work, Jacqueline enjoys birdwatching, finding time in nature to be a peaceful counterbalance to the intensity of criminal litigation.
