Jacqueline Boutros

Jackie is an associate at Bariteau Dulysh, where her practice focuses on criminal litigation at the trial level. She has represented clients facing a variety of criminal charges, including drug trafficking, firearms offences, and sexual assault.

Jackie received her JD from Q ueen’s University. She also holds a Master of Fine Art from Eastern Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.

Throughout her time in law school, Jackie was a dedicated caseworker at Queen’s Legal Aid, where she assisted Kingston-area residents with various matters before the Social Benefits Tribunal and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Jackie also worked on several criminal defence files during her time at Queen’s Legal Aid, and she credits this work with solidifying her interest in pursuing criminal defence work after law school.

Jackie has a particular interest in written advocacy and complex pre-trial applications relating to the Charter and the admissibility private records in sexual assault prosecutions. Jackie is dedicated to helping her clients navigate these complicated issues, and ensuring that there interests are protected throughout the process.
