Chloe Wang
Articling Student
Chloe is an articling student at Bariteau Dulysh Criminal Lawyers and a recent graduate of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law.
During law school, she worked at a small firm with a focus on criminal and civil defence, where she gained practical experience supporting counsel on a range of defence matters, including disclosure reviews, pre-trial motions and bail preparations. She was also entrusted with a wide range of cases, where she facilitated client communications independently to resolve client matters. Her interest in criminal law was further reinforced through her volunteer work at the Fred Victor Centre, where she supported individuals navigating poverty, homelessness, and the justice system.
Chloe participated in advocacy competitions throughout law school, including the Tort Law Moot, the Fanaki Competition Law Moot, and the Davies Securities Law Moot. These experiences sharpened her legal research, writing, and appellate advocacy skills, which she now continues to build on in criminal law practices.
Outside of work, Chloe regularly follows criminal law developments through the Criminal Lawyers’ Association podcast and listens to Supreme Court of Canada arguments to stay current on key criminal law issues and trends, with a particular interest in evidence law.
